Mango lassi – refreshing smoothie with yogurt

Mango lassi is a traditional Indian smoothie that is made with few ingredients such as Greek yogurt, mango, sugar or honey and ice. Together they create a kind of yogurt milkshake. The addition of powdered cardamom gives a spicy touch that goes perfectly with the flavor of the mango. It is a drink that is drunk all year round but is more popular during the summer as it is refreshing and calming. Traditionally it should be combined with Indian spicy dishes as it soothes the sensation of spiciness. I enjoyed it as a sort of fruit and yogurt dessert and I must admit that its particular flavor won me over immediately. A must try.
