Chocolate bars with puffed rice, almonds and peanut butter

If you are looking for a rich and healthy snack, these homemade chocolate bars with puffed rice and peanut butter are just for you. They are delicious thanks to the use of dark chocolate, peanut butter and tahini (sesame cream optional in use) but equally crunchy and healthy thanks to the almonds, pieces of peanuts, sesame seeds and puffed rice. Obviously they are gluten-free and egg-free treats to enjoy as a snack when we want something sweet but at the same time healthy.

Instructions

Instructions Chocolate bars with puffed rice, almonds and peanut butter

  • For this recipe I used silicone molds Silikomart – My Snack.
  • Sprinkle the mould with sesame seeds for decoration. Add almost all the pieces of almonds and peanuts.
  • Melt the dark chocolate iover water bath, then add the tahini and peanut butter and mix to combine with the chocolate. Add a few teaspoons of the melted chocolate on top of the almonds and peanuts.
  • Add the puffed rice to the remaining chocolate and mix in. Add this chocolate mix to the mould and gently make it even with a knife. Add a few remaining pieces of almond, peanut or sesame seeds and press in gently.
  • Place the mould in the refrigerator until the bars become solid. Once ready, remove one after the other from the mould and serve when needed.

Store in the refrigerator in a closed container. The white or yellow patina that appears on the bars is absolutely natural as it is due to the separation of tahini and peanut butter from the chocolate in a cold environment.

lot of love. B.
