Yogurt, mustard and honey salad dressing

Scorrere verso il basso

Yogurt dressing with mustard and honey is an excellent light way to garnish your mixed salads but also to serve it with boiled potatoes, grilled vegetables or fish. The combination of mustard and honey together with yogurt and apple cider vinegar makes this sauce very tasty, an excellent combination of sweet, salty and sour. It is a dressing sauce that is quick and easy to prepare and with few ingredients. It is an excellent light alternative to the ready-made sauces that we can find at the supermarket which, in addition to containing mayonnaise, are often rich in salt or preservatives. Try it with slices of ripe seasonal tomatoes.

Instructions yogurt, mustard and honey salad dressing

  • The recipe for this sauce is pretty simple. Mix all the ingredients, set aside for a few minutes to let the flavors blend, taste and add more honey, mustard or vinegar if needed. As you have noticed in the ingredients I have also added the possibility of varying the flavor of the sauce by adding crushed garlic or dried herbs such as thyme, oregano etc. If like me you are a lover of spicy flavor, add dry chilli powder or flakes to taste. The taste of this sauce depends on how you want to use it. For example, with grilled fish I recommend adding dry or fresh fennel.
