This avocado banana green smoothie is an example that certain combinations of flavors can be unusual or weird but in the end it turns out that they are special and tasty. In this particular, thick and soft smoothie I combined banana, avocado, kiwi and arugula. The addition of arugula gives this smoothie a slightly “nutty” flavor while the banana and avocado make it velvety and smooth. Yum!
Avocado banana green smoothie
- 1 frozen or fresh banana
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 2 kiwi
- 1 cup or more water
- arugula to taste I used a small handful
- honey maple syrup or other type of sweetener to taste
