Parmesan roasted green beans

If you’re tired of the usual boiled or sautéed green beans and wondering how to cook frozen green beans, this recipe for parmesan roasted green beans is definitely for you. Green beans, which are frozen at the peak of their harvest season in the summer, are a great side dish idea in the winter when we need to add a few extra vitamins to our diet. The recipe itself is very simple and requires few ingredients and guarantees a super tasty and nutritious meal. It is a quick and easy side dish with legumes which, with its golden and tasty gratin, goes perfectly with classic or vegetable burgers or white meat.
Parmesan roasted green beans
Ingredients
- 400 g frozen green beans
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 2-3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 2-3 tbsp bread crumbs
Instructions

- Place your frozen green beans in a bowl. Add olive oil, salt, pepper and crushed or finely chopped garlic. Mix well to coat them well. Now add two generous tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. Toss to completely coat your green beans with the prepared mixture.
- Line a baking sheet with baking paper and add the beans. Bake in the preheated static oven at 180 °C for 20 – 25 minutes or until tender. Once they become golden take them out of the oven, if you like, add some chopped parsley and serve immediately.
