Homemade vanilla extract

In my recipes I often use homemade vanilla extract that makes cakes and desserts delicious and aromatic. The process for making the extract is very simple and the cost is lower compared to a ready to use product from the store. You can preserve this vanilla extract for a very long time and your desserts will become flavourful and fragrant.

Instructions homemade vanilla extract
Split each vanilla bean in half lengthwise and place them into a bottle. Pour in the vodka so that it completely covers the vanilla. Close the bottle and keep it in a cool, dark place (not the refrigerator). Shake the bottle periodically. Let stand for at least 3 weeks, however, the extract will reach full flavor after a few months and will be perfect for use. You can store it in your pantry for years.
